Currently, Blake K. Johnson is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer specializing in Business Development and Operations, and a founding member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit GTJ Foundation. Starting full time at GTJ in May 2003, Blake has had many roles and responsibilities in his career at GTJ including general laborer, field inspector, repair department general manager and Metro Detroit territory manager. This diverse background provides Blake the necessary knowledge and experience to take GTJ to the next level in property preservation.

Education: South Lake High School, Graduated in 2000.
Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC: 2001-2002. Business administration.
Wayne State University in Detroit, MI: 2002-2005. B.A. with a Major in Political Science. Graduated with Honors, Cum Laude
Certified in Property Preservation, Five Star Institute, 2008

Personal: Blake is an avid sports enthusiast and has a passion for politics. While at Wayne State University, Blake was a 4 year scholar athlete and letter winner in golf. Blake served as the Wayne State University Golf Team Captain for 3 seasons (2003-2005) and received honors including 4-time All GLIAC Academic Team and 2-time All GLIAC Team honors. Blake is currently a member of the Lochmoor Club in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. In addition, Blake's lifelong passion for politics led him to run for political office for the first time in 2008. Blake ran for the Macomb County Charter Commission but was defeated in the August 2008 primary.
